Flags Flying At New Holly Springs Veterans Memorial at Town Center

It was a special Flag Day in Holly Springs as the City of Holly Springs and the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce came together to celebrate the official ribbon cutting for the Holly Springs Veterans Memorial located in the Hickory Road roundabout in the heart of the new Town Center. The Holly Springs Police Department Honor Guard was onsite to raise the flags for the first time – a central American flag flanked by six additional flags representing each branch of the U.S. Armed Forces: Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and Space Force. The memorial represents the men and women who have served in any branch of the military, honoring those that have protected our freedoms.

As Holly Springs Town Center continues to come to life, we’re proud to have this new Veterans Memorial in the center of it all as a tribute to those who serve and a constant reminder of our debt of gratitude for their service and sacrifice. We look forward to having this as a touchstone of our community for years and generations to come.
