Holly Springs Town Center Celebrates Groundbreaking for New Amphitheatre

Holly Springs Town Center Amphitheatre Groundbreaking Event | September 2025 | Holly Springs, GA

The City of Holly Springs and Holly Springs Town Center teams came together on September 3rd to celebrate the official groundbreaking for the new Holly Springs Town Center Amphitheatre. Construction of the Amphitheatre by Reeves Young LLC is expected to last approximately nine months and includes the stage, green room, and dressing room as well as public restrooms. Once completed, the Amphitheatre will play host to a variety of community events and concerts including the popular Holly Springs Harmonies summer concert series.

“Today isn’t just about breaking ground on a building. It’s about taking another big step forward as a community,” says Holly Springs Mayor Ryan P. Shirley. “We’re creating a place where music, culture, and connection can thrive. A place where families will spread out blankets for a summer concert, where performers will share their gifts with us, and where festivals and events will bring us together year after year.” Mayor Shirley was joined by city officials and representatives from the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce as well as development and construction partners to mark the occasion.  In addition to the Amphitheatre, Holly Springs Town Center is slated to encompass a walkable, Main Street inspired setting combining restaurant, entertainment, and outdoor spaces as well as residential offerings and the new Holly Springs City Hall. The Holly Springs City Council is scheduled to award the construction contract for City Hall during its October 6th meeting. Work should begin later in 2025 and is scheduled to be completed over 18 months.

The Town Center will be served with ample free public parking thanks to the site’s already completed parking deck which will provide more than 300 spaces with entry and exit to Hickory Springs Parkway. Addressing infrastructure first has been a priority for the Town Center to ensure a comfortable and dynamic setting.
